Banners, Posters and Signs
Banners, posters and signs are not permitted in the facility. You will be asked to return them to your vehicle or dispose of them upon entry.
Cameras and Recording Devices
Professional cameras, video cameras and audio recording devices are not permitted inside the KCAC during events. You will be asked to return them to your vehicle or dispose of them upon entry.
Fan Code of Conduct
The Kovalchick Complex has a fan code of conduct to help promote a positive fan environment at all events. The code of conduct is intended to address behavior that detracts from the event experience. Any fan in violation of these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund and loss of ticket privileges for future events.
The Kovalchick Complex and IUP Athletics are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. Event staff will proactively intervene to support an environment where our guests can enjoy the event experience free from the following behaviors:
- Abusive, foul or disruptive language and/or gestures
- Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption or other drug use
- Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures
- Sitting in a location other than the guest’s ticketed location
- Displays of affection not appropriate in a public setting
- Obscene or indecent clothing
- Any disruption to the progress of the event
- Any behavior which otherwise interferes with other guests’ enjoyment of the event
Each guest should have their ticket readily available to display to event staff or security to verify seat locations.
Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in the guest being ejected, arrested or having their tickets revoked. All season ticket holders are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons using their tickets.
Guests are encouraged to report issues and concerns by speaking with nearby event staff or security.
Food and Beverage
Outside food and beverage is not permitted inside the KCAC. The KCAC has concession stands available inside the venue to serve guests’ needs.
Inspection Policy
All guests are subject to visual inspection of person, parcels, bags, containers and clothing capable of carrying prohibited items. Guests refusing inspection will be denied entry into the Kovalchick Complex.
Lost and Found
Lost and found sheets are available for guests to complete if they have lost an item during an event. Please speak with a guest services team member to receive assistance.
Note: The KCAC only keeps items for 30 days after the conclusion of an event.
Pets
Animals are not permitted in the facility. You will be asked to remain outside of the facility with your pet.
Only trained guide dogs or service animals assisting guests with disabilities are permitted inside the facility.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted:
- Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
- Audio/Video recorders, professional cameras, tripods, selfie sticks
- Balloons
- Cans, bottles, coolers or other similar containers
- Fireworks
- Flags/signs with poles
- Frisbees
- iPads/tablets of any size
- Laser pens/pointers of any type
- Noisemakers such as air horns
- Outside food or drinks
- Oversized bags, backpacks, duffel bags
- Pepper spray/Mace
- Signs larger than 8.5" by 11"
- Weapons of any type, including chains, knives, firearms and spiked jewelry
- Any other item deemed unacceptable by event/building management
Re-Entry
There is a no re-entry policy for all ticketed events. For the safety and security of our guests, re-entry back into the KCAC is restricted for tickets events.
Scalping
The reselling of Kovalchick Complex tickets on property is strictly prohibited. Guests engaged in such activity may be escorted off premises without any liability to the Kovalchick Complex.
Smoking and Tobacco Policy
The use of all types of tobacco products (including and not limited to, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars and cigarillos, hookah smoked products, pipes, oral tobacco and nasal tobacco) is prohibited. This also includes any product intended to mimic tobacco products, contain tobacco flavoring, or delivering nicotine.
Smoking areas are available outside the arena. Guests wishing to smoke will be directed to the designated outside smoking areas for a particular event. Please check with an guest services team member for the location designated for any given event.
Umbrellas
Guests may carry umbrellas into the venue.
